Author Interview| The Toughest Thing While Writing is to Keep the Story Gripping says Sunil Gera

How much important it is to meet and explore new people as a writer? How do you explore people?

There are new literatures today which have not been there in the past. In India the literary seen was dominated by colonial literature before independence. At that time the literature was written from the colonizers perspective. Post colonial literture has new influences and many good writers like Anita Desai, Salman Rushdie, Arundhati Roy, Vikram Seth, Jhumpa Lahiri are well known. In brief globalization has brought in multiculturism. Therefore it is necessary to explore new people and new places to be able to write relevent stuff.

We explore people by all kind of interaction- by interviewing , meeting, sharing, spending time together.
